Announcement of Pb (Lead)-Free Designation

Scotsman’s has obtained a Pb (Lead)-Free designation from California and Vermont for many of their commercial ice making products.

A Pb (Lead)-Free designated product is evaluated and determined to possess weighted average lead content of <=0.25% and is in compliance with California's Health & Safety Code Section 116875 (commonly known as AB1953) and Vermont Act 193. 

In your review of the documentation you’ll see that the under-counter units are not yet listed, however they are in final approval waiting on documentation. 

The next batch of models to be approved will follow shortly and new data will be entered into AutoQuotes in early 2011.
